What is barbaree earl nielsen?

Barbaree Earl Nielsen was an American serial killer and rapist who was born on September 30, 1945, in Louisiana, USA. He was convicted of sexually assaulting and killing at least four young girls in California between 1972 and 1975. Nielsen was also suspected of committing other murders based on his modus operandi, including the murder of a six-year-old girl in Aberdeen, Washington in 1971.

Nielsen was known for his violent and sadistic crimes. He would kidnap, rape, and strangle his victims, leaving their bodies in remote areas to be discovered by law enforcement. Nielsen was finally apprehended by the police in 1975 after a witness noted his suspicious behavior and reported it to the authorities. He was found guilty of the murder of four girls and was sentenced to death.

Nielsen spent many years on death row, appealing his sentence and claiming that he was not responsible for the murders. In 1993, he was interviewed by FBI agent John Douglas, who noted Nielsen's narcissistic personality and lack of remorse for his crimes. Nielsen died of natural causes in prison on December 1, 2008, at the age of 63.
